Good question. Purchasing through a reseller actually has many benefits, including possible discounts, localized support, and setup assistance.

This article will help you understand the value of resellers and how to choose the right one.

What is a Google Workspace Reseller?

Reseller Role

Google Workspace resellers are Google-authorized resellers that can:

• Sell Google Workspace subscriptions
• Provide localized technical support
• Assist with setup and migration
• Issue invoices (a reseller with a company in Taiwan can issue a Government Uniform Invoice)

Reseller Partner Tiers

In December 2025 Google announced its new partner programme, the Google Cloud Partner Network, set to go live in Q1 2026 with a six-month transition period. The tiering moves from two levels to three, and a competency framework replaces the old specializations:

Two practical notes:

1. Some reseller sites may still show old-programme badges and names. That isn't necessarily dishonesty. They may simply not have switched yet. If a tier name is unfamiliar, look the company up in the official partner directory, Partner Finder, and see what it is actually registered as.
2. The announcement names only three tiers: Select, Premier and Diamond. If a company uses any other tier name, ask it to state how it is actually registered in the directory.

Google Cloud has a public partner directory, Partner Finder, and Google Workspace partners are listed in it too.

In our own testing, the more reliable way to check has three steps:

1. Apply the filters first. Set the region to Taiwan and the Subprogram to Resellers
2. Then type the company name into the search box. A company that matches the filters usually moves into the first few results
3. Open the company's page to read its tier. The tier shown on the card is not necessarily the one for the Workspace track

Don't rely on one of these alone. If you only browse with filters, the directory shows only the top 30 results at a time, and companies further down won't appear. Typing a name into the search box alone is not reliable either: the search does not match on names, and when we entered names exactly as the directory lists them, some of those companies did not appear in the results. If a search finds nothing, try another form of the name, such as the full English name or the brand name.

If the company still can't be found, there are two cases to consider. Google's help documentation mentions "2-tier resellers that buy through a distributor" (Google Workspace Admin Help, 2026), but does not say whether such companies appear in the directory. The other possibility is that the company has no reseller relationship with Google at all. The directory cannot tell you which it is, so ask three things directly:

1. Which company do you supply through, and is it in the directory (try both Resellers and Distributors under Subprogram)?
2. Whose reseller account will my Workspace subscription sit under?
3. Which company issues the contract and the invoice?

• Is there a dedicated contact?

Which Google Workspace Resellers Are in Taiwan? What the Official Directory Shows

We compiled the table below from Google's official partner directory on October 14, 2026. The filter was: location includes Taiwan, in the "Resellers" subprogram, and Premier tier on the "Google Workspace • Co-sell & Services" track. Names are as the directory displayed them that day. We haven't scored anyone. This table is not a complete list, for the reasons given below it.

Six things to keep in mind when reading it:

• This table is incomplete, and there is no way to confirm a complete one. With this filter the directory shows only the top 30 results, and 8 of those 30 have a location outside Taiwan, which pushes Taiwan companies further down. The first 17 names in the table come from those 30. We only saw the last 2 after adding other tier conditions to bring the result count under 30. Given that, there are very likely companies we have not found
• Different legal entities under the same name or brand are listed once. Cloud Mile, Microfusion, TS Cloud, Cloud Ace and Chunghwa Telecom each have more than one entry in the directory. Separately, 吉積情報's own website lists Cloud Ace as a group company. We list the two separately here, as the directory does
• Filtering for Diamond tier with the same conditions returned a single result, located in Indonesia, and none whose location includes Taiwan
• Select-tier companies aren't listed
• "Location includes Taiwan" doesn't mean a Taiwanese company. The table includes foreign companies, so confirm before signing which legal entity issues the contract and the invoice

Tier is Google's assessment. It doesn't indicate price, and it doesn't guarantee a fit for you.

4. Service scope: What exactly does support service include
5. SLA commitment: Is response time guaranteed?

• What exactly is "free support"?
• Is setup service extra charge?
• Can you reach someone when there are issues?

FAQ

Can resellers see my data?

It depends on whether you have reseller access turned on. Google's help page for resellers says that in a customer's Admin console a reseller can do most tasks that an administrator can do, with some limitations. For example, a reseller can't accept the Terms of Service on the customer's behalf or generate transfer tokens (Google reseller help, 2026). The page does not promise that any particular content is hidden from a reseller.

You can turn it off yourself: a super administrator can switch reseller access on or off under Account > Reseller management in the Admin console (Google Workspace Admin Help, 2026).

Can I switch resellers mid-term?

Yes, and you are the one who starts it. According to Google, your super administrator goes to Reseller management in the Admin console, picks the subscription to transfer, enters the new reseller's Public Identifier and generates a transfer authorization (Google Workspace Admin Help, 2026). The same page says three more things:

• A transfer doesn't affect your data, and you can use the services as usual during it
• Transfers are nonreversible
• Before transferring, read the "transfer limitations" and "billing impacts" sections on that page

What if the reseller goes out of business?

Your Google Workspace account is still yours:

• Can transfer to another reseller
• Or switch to buying directly from Google
• Data won't be affected

How do I confirm a company really is a Google Workspace reseller?

Go to Google's official partner directory, Partner Finder. Set the region to Taiwan and the Subprogram to Resellers, then type the company name into the search box, and open the company's page to read its tier on the Workspace track. Browsing with filters alone shows only the top 30 results at a time, so it's easy to miss a company, and typing a name alone may also find nothing, so try another form of the name. A company you still can't find may be a 2-tier reseller buying through a distributor, or it may have no reseller relationship with Google at all. So ask which company is upstream, whose reseller account your subscription sits under, and who issues the contract and invoice.

Is it always cheaper through resellers?

Not necessarily:

• Some resellers have discounts
• Some price same as official site
• Depends on reseller policy and purchase volume
