FAQ
Q1: What if I registered on the wrong China site?
International and China site accounts are completely independent.
If you registered on the China site, that account cannot be used on the International site.
Solution: Register again on the International site with the same Email (accounts on both sides are independent, won't conflict).
Q2: Not receiving verification email?
Checklist:
- Confirm Email address is spelled correctly
- Check spam folder
- Wait 2-3 minutes
- Click resend
- Try using a different Email
If still not receiving, the Email provider may be blocking it. Try using Gmail or other mainstream email services.
Q3: Credit card verification failed?
Possible reasons:
- Card doesn't have international transactions enabled
- Insufficient credit limit
- Bank blocking suspicious transactions
- Card information entered incorrectly
Solutions:
- Contact issuing bank to enable international transactions
- Try using a different card
- Switch to PayPal
Q4: Can I use a Chinese phone number to register on International site?
Yes, but not recommended.
The purpose of the International site is to make it convenient for overseas users. If you have a Chinese phone number, using the China site directly may be more convenient (more services, prices in RMB).
Q5: What if my account is locked?
If you enter the wrong password multiple times, your account may be temporarily locked.
Solutions:
- Wait 30 minutes and retry
- Use "Forgot Password" to reset password
- Contact Tencent Cloud customer service
Q6: How to switch languages?
The International site supports multiple languages.
Find the language switch option in the top right corner or bottom of the page, select your preferred language.
